Surprise Me

I was recently introduced to Sydney Albertini, who not only makes the most stunning one-of-a-kind serving pieces, but fabulous hand-stitched quilts and pillows for babies.  Ordering goes something like this: you find something on her site that appeals to you, she asks for your color preferences, hunts down vintage fabrics in that palette, whips together an adorable patchwork pillow, and…you kind of get-what-you-get. Luckily, she has fabulous taste and is highly creative so every individual item is a little unique keepsake. And the imperfect hand-stitched “monogram” is a sweet touch that makes it feel even more special.
